Rockhampton City Hall

The heritage listed Rockhampton City Hall was constructed between 1939 and 1941 and is a central hub of Rockhampton’s main business district.

In 2019, McMillan Heritage Plastering was enlisted as the heritage-plastering subcontractor for the restoration of Rockhampton City Hall’s two-storey high Reception Room, including associated Ante Rooms, within the centre of the building. The original fibrous plaster ceiling, walls and columns were all restored to their former glory using traditional plastering techniques and materials.
